Feminism as we speak today, is a series of social movements, to stop the very discrimination against women across the globe. The movement was started with a basic aim to allow women a status equavalent to men. The term feminism simply means that no Sex should be treated with injustice. It stands for equality between Genders, ending the male domination in society.
Opposed to the concept of patriarchy feminism stands to recognise the individuality of a woman, but the same has been unfortunately given various meaning which has ruined the basic aim of the movement. Many people are against the idea of feminism because thi simply aren’t aware what it is all about. Pseudo Feminism is playing a major role in the same as it is propagating the idea of women dominance over the world. It states women should be superior to any other gender and men’s hatred while that is not what feminism is about.
Feminists advocate the rights of women that they have been deprived of, they aim to provide all the basic facilities available in society to women too, much of the concept is based on supporting the rights and interest of women just to uplift their status at par with men.
