    For instance, research has shown that sexual harassment is less likely to be taken seriously in schools. Girls are more frequently disciplined by their teachers regarding their appearance or behaviour than boys here. Teachers may also be less likely to show tolerance towards girls being loud or noisy in class; a tendency which often extends to parents too. How does it build and affect the minds of teenagers?
