Many of the great inventions of the last 200 years were designed to replace human labour. Tractors were developed to substitute mechanical power for human physical toil. Assembly lines were engineer to replace inconsistent human handiwork with machine perfection. Computers were programmed to swap out an error-prone, inconsistent human calculation with digital perfection. These inventions have worked. We no longer dig ditches by hand, lb tools out of wrought iron or to bookkeeping using actual books. Most of the work we do requires a multiplicity of skills, and brains and brawn, technical expertise and intuitive mastery, perspiration and inspiration. In general, automating some sets of those tasks doesn’t make the other ones unnecessary. It makes them more important. It increases their economic value.
Women’s share of the global labour force has been stuck at 39% for the last thirty years. Automatic action is likely to displacement and women more or less equally over the next decade. Occupations and sectors today are sharply divided along gender lines. Men are reluctant to become nurses because of gender stereotyping and women pursue careers slide engineering very little. Progress towards gender equality across professions is welcome. It is estimated that half of the woman’s jobs displaced (52%) could be in services and clerical jobs. In machine operation and craftwork men’s jobs can be displaced around 40%. Automation may be relative de slow to affect emerging economies like our country India where the manufacturing wages are comparatively lower than the cost of machine labour. Women can be considered disadvantages compared to men when we considered new types of jobs. This may be the result of a new wave of technologies. In this time in age people need to have the right skills to be mobile and adaptable and to be tech-savvy. We have seen that women face many barriers, which main force them to lag behind men.July 22, 2021 at 1:36 pm #33225For almost 30 years, women have stuck around a 39 percent mark on the global labor force; advances towards equality between women and women in the workplace are glacial. A new game changer is now in the form of technology for automation and artificial intelligence. Could these technologies be part of the workforce breakthrough that women need, open up new options and reduce the gender gap in employment? Or are these technologies going to leave women behind even more? Automation will revolutionize the work we know when predictions are right. But it’s hard to determine which jobs are going to be affected, and how many. Although a major discussion is taking place on just those matters, the automation process often ignores the promise of equality between men and women.
Automation could be useful for families with time constraints, i.e. all families, who strive to balance competing requirements of full-time jobs and schools with a secure household. However, women like Bowsher might be the largest beneficiary. The reason is that, according to the most current census data from Statistics Canada, women continually take on more home jobs than men — over 50 percent more. Combined with their real paid employment, women work longer than males, while working the types of occupations that commonly induce burnout — less-paid positions and more part-time so that they can still do more unpaid work at home. However, it is not guaranteed to change sensitivity just to rely on the emergence of new technologies. James Young, a University of Winnipeg professor in IT, points out that when first debuted microwaves, they were advertised for guys who had no other way of preparing dining as a great technology toy.
There are still ways that AI technologies can mitigate mental stress, like automating domestic procurement, appointment planning, and family schedule management, to keep us away from the AI robot, which completes our tasks for us. AI could in the future help to alleviate the strain of management of various interfaces by acting as interpreter and central coordinator of many of the household’s apps and platforms. Type Alexa tools are early instances and their potential to impact this technology. These technologies should alleviate the stress of balance between home and work, facilitating demands and difficulties for women.July 23, 2021 at 9:16 pm #33236Many automated machines development in last few decades have really helped in easing the women workload and household chores become a lot easier to do using machines it is really a time saving so women get some free time in busy schedule also working women it has been the game-changer for them, women used to wash so many clothes so they have the problem of back pain but after washing machines tit is now much better for them, now women have some time in pursuing their work or hobbies. Technologies are upgrading at a faster pace than a human so in future, there are many chances that man force is being replaced by machines which will be not helpful for us so people need to be very precise about this thing which machine is beneficial for them and which is not. May some women will find it harder to switch the occupation because automated AI technology is very powerful and efficient more than humans, some countries are adopting this by 2030 in which many people may have lost their job by that time so it is very important that we should discuss this issue with the government, so automation is advantage or disadvantage. Can we say there are a lot more changes are going to happen so if women will be kept upgrading the women that will help.
August 7, 2021 at 1:00 pm #33338Automation is something that helps to reduce work for human. Automation helps in various ways like machinery, ovens, telephone, vehicles and many web applications or any other applications. Automation helps to reduce the workload of women in many ways like in household and office work. As we all know that, in this pandemic situation workload of women has increased but automation things like machinery and applications are helping women to do all the work faster and helps to decrease their workload. There are different types of automation like artificial neutral network, distributed control system, human machine interface, robotic process automation and many more things are helping women to do work faster at workplace. Automation will also help women to do work from home instead of giving up their career for family. Many of the working mothers and working women are doing online job or courses to follow their goals because of the automation women are able to manage household chores and office work. Automation saves time for women to do other work in meanwhile time like washing machine. It will also helps women to do office work and courses on time after doing all the household chores with the help of automation. And than, attending lectures of course and working from home through technology will help women to maintain their productivity towards work. Because of the automation women’s are really getting help to reduce their workload in both the places in home and at workplace.
