Domestic violence genuinely does impact the mental health of children in particular. It is but more obvious that the feeling of violence and agression developed in children as they learn from what they see which is a psychological fact. Violence be it of any kind should absolutely be avoided in front of children.
Today we need to acknowledge that mental and emotional health issues are rising because of the same reason. Children feel drained, anxious, emotionally unstable due to many reasons one of which is being a victim of violence.
Children growing up in households were domestic violence is practised develop hatred easily and face mental health issues. It here becomes very important that a child should be provided safe, healthy and a loving environment to ensure the overall development of a child.
Domestic violence is not only physical harassment but also a form of mental torture which is capable of destroying lives of people along with their children at home.
