Human beings have different views and opinions regarding different issues in the society. There is no clear way of knowing what are the so called right or wrong opinions. Everyone thinks to themselves that their opinion is the best and hence should be right. People thinking that their opinion is right leads them to presume that all others’ opinion has to be wrong, and that’s when they start being judgemental. So that makes one question is it right to judge an individual based on opinions on a specific issue?
No, it is not at all right to judge someone based on their opinion on a specific issue. Opinions are not supposed to be right and wrong, and even if someone’s opinions are deeply problematic, judging them is not going to do anything. We need to learn to live in peach and harmony while respecting people’s opinion, and if someone’s opinion is not just an opinion but it rather presents a threat to the society, instead of judging them, we should try to educate them why they are wrong. Judging someone wouldn’t make them change their opinion, they will still remain ignorant about that issue. So the best and the only way is to educate each other about different issues and share our individual views on these issues, then only we can arrive at a middle way to achieve peace.
