Yes, Workplace has always been more unequal for Black women in many companies. We all know that in media industry or in TV industry people usually prefer white women because of which black women don’t get a chance to have an opportunity. In companies their are employees who bully black women face and comparing her all the time with white women which is wrong because of bullying the women may get suffer from mental health which is very harmful for her. People need to understand that they should not make comparison between white and black women instead of that they need to treat both of them equally by giving support and encouragement for her talent rather than judging her all the time. According to survey more than 24,000 employees are suffering from unequal treatment at workplace because of comparison between white and black women. We all know that stereotyping plays a major role in our society to make a person feel more unequal at workplace. People usually make constant stereotype against black women due to which that women will obviously feel uncomfortable and it may loose her confidence towards her project because of which it leads to bad impression towards her boss. They need to prove herself over again and again to get an opportunity. There are many black women who had achieve success by breaking all the stereotypes like Viola Davis, Jada Pinkett Smith and more. The only thing is stop making comparison and stereotyping between different races, we all need to see talent and confidence instead of such kind of things. Companies and people should treat black women equally with respect. And they need to get equal opportunities with equal pay for equal work. Black women need to fight back for their equal place and they shouldn’t think of colour is even being matters for herself also. Instead they need to focus on their talent and believe in herself by working hard towards her career goals.
