Women are the backbone of a family and their family’s health is dependent upon their health. Women face many health issues that are different from men and many of which they aren’t even aware of. These issues need to addressed and improved for their own emotional and physical well-being.
Women in a family many times compromise on their health and that’s why it is very important to increase awareness and support each other.
Women’s lives have become busier than before as they are burdened with the work outside and inside the home. Women’s health gets left behind in the chaos of daily life. Women should go for annual health check-ups. Early detection of any kind of disease will help them cure any kind of disease faster and better.
Women are unaware of the fact that they are more prone to heart diseases as compared to men. It’s the leading cause of their death. This happens due to excessive stress and workload. Breast Cancer is the most aggressive form of cancer which affects the female population. Cervical cancer is very common in women. It is the growth of abnormal cells in the lining of the cervix in an uncontrolled manner. This disease is caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and for early detection routine PAP smear test is necessary. Women should consult a doctor whenever there is a deviation from their normal menstrual cycle. Women are more prone to Osteoporosis and it occurs mainly after the age of 50 years. Women face hormonal fluctuations which can contribute to depression and anxiety. PMS or premenstrual syndrome can lead to intense symptoms of anxiety. Women also have to go through postpartum depression and menopause which can create stronger emotional symptoms of anxiety and tiredness.
It’s important that women are aware of these conditions and they also need to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Regular physical activity and awareness can improve these conditions.
