Well the feeling of not being wanted and feeling of not being loved and feeling of someone looking at you as a burden is already a great deal to deal with because being a girl you are already decriminalized since the day you come into this world. Though I know the world has now changed and girls are actually being wanted. There are couples who eagerly wait to have girls but we can’t deny that this society has already created a mould for us . From the type of clothes which we should wear to what career you should choose , from in what shape our bodies should be to how and what you should speak is already divided by this society and if we don’t fit into these mould than this very society who actually say these big and mighty line lie girls are laxmi and so on questions our character , our self-worth is divided by them and tell us on how we should actually compromise because we are fat , we are dark , we are skinny , we are ugly and so on . We all know how this society has been blaming girls for every situation to the point that in many households a woman is always blamed for disharmony in the house or even called a jinx. To such an extent that if a woman is raped or she complains of indecent behaviour they backlash us saying that it must be the woman’s mistake of wearing western clothes.
Due to this we have to always be cautious of our looks and everything because feeling of being unaccepted and unwelcomed makes us repressed and feel lonely. As a woman we have been striving hard to be accepted by this society but still all of us are mentally exhausted by this society.
So in such conditions what do we expect women to be? Happy?
It’s really hard to live as a woman and especially when you have a different mindset we are not accepted and our views are not validated. We are labelled as wrong by everyone and whatever we do is termed as wrong so we are in deja Vu for what we should do exactly and thus resulting in anxiety and depression and suppression of emotions that we shed through tears .
