Beauty pageants have always been a topic of discussion. Some people see them as sexist for women but in reality they are empowering for women.
The girls who take part in these beauty contests results in being more responsible young women who engage in activities that helps in building the country. Beauty contests have an impact on women empowerment because they give a platform, a place where girls can be heard on different levels and most importantly it helps them in building their leadership and mentorship roles. Beauty pageants are good with diversity of things and they also help as a good platform and place to promote the Government policies related to the youth, the business and the industry, among the people but there is a need in creativity in the organisation and management of selected beauty pageants.
