I totally agree the fact that women should be teaching at universities more than a male. A female teacher has the ability to interact and understand a student’s mental, and emotional needs. As a woman they surely do have a better Psychology when it comes to understand teenage children. Women have proven to only good teachers, but also a good councillor. This brings about a sense of security in many children and make them have the urge to step out of their respective comfort zone when they see a female teacher teaching. A woman teacher focus even more on a bringing development to a student’s personality in a holistic way. Women are born with a mind having solace and empathy keeping a balanced mind. Due to these enormous skills, teachers are able to understand and know what a child in college might go through and understand each ones Capability. In this case they are certainly more vigorous compared to male teachers. It becomes easier for a teacher to plan their schedule accordingly when she connects with her student’s. Today in universities it is necessary to have female teaches for providing knowledge about gender equality which would be more effective when a female teacher teaches that a male. Reports suggest that is having a female teacher increases in results of girl Students and keep them motivated to study instead of dropping out. Female teachers are already making up the majority in the world, and hope this contribution never ends. But the education ministry should really think deep when it comes to managing of female teachers in rural areas. Getting more female teachers in rural, or remote areas is challenging but might be desirable to offer job opportunities for women in these areas and giveel female students a chance to have a teacher that looks more like them. I don’t think there is anything wrong in women in lower standards but if she is put in teaching for university level educational to then many children can certainly achieve the advantage of it. Education departments in many areas should make sure there arise no barriers for female teachers wanting to teach in universities out there. Important of having a female teacher benefits and brings about a motivation in girls and as well as boys which allow them to think beyond levels to achieve their goals for future through innovative and a broad-minded thought in them. Irrespective of the percentage of women teachers in the primary education system, we must necessarily value their role as educators. When we succeed in provide women teachers an excellent working condition, they can contribute to the development of girl education and the community as a whole.

A school is a child’s second home, and teachers are second only to parents in importance. Teachers have the ability to influence students, and judging a teacher based on their gender is difficult. After all, a teacher’s worth is determined by how well they teach and guide students.

The profession of teaching is not limited to females. One can say that teaching is seen as a form of nurturing and since it is assumed that nurturing is a woman’s job, a female would make a better teacher than a male. One needs to remember that teaching is not an act of nurturing. A teacher imparts knowledge, critical thinking skills, the ability to distinguish fact from fiction, etc.

Gender does not play a role in education. It is determined by one’s attitude. Isn’t it good teaching when a teacher can talk to their students and explain a concept in a way that ensures the students understand? Isn’t a teacher a good teacher if they can understand and guide a student’s abilities? What distinguishes a female teacher from a male teacher? The answer is nothing.

What one looks for in a teacher is their knowledge and understanding of the subject, the ability to explain topics and resolve queries, understand the psychology of students, and guide the student. As long as a teacher holds these qualities, the gender of the teacher is not of concern. A male teacher can be just as caring as a female counterpart. A female teacher can be as strict as a male teacher. And so on. The dedication and sincerity of a teacher to teach take more priority than their gender.

One thing to keep in mind is that female students might feel more at ease when they have a female teacher, while a male teacher can handle male students better. But, at the end of the day, a good teacher will have the ability to make their students comfortable with them while also being strict on a reasonable level.

To conclude, teaching is a profession that examines factors that exclude gender; it makes no difference whether the person teaching is male or female. We cannot make a decision based on that criterion. All that matters is a teacher’s bond with his or her students and how good they are at their job.

Yes, I agree with that because girls in colleges and schools they get more friendly with female teachers, it will be great if there will be more female teachers in universities. As well as students interaction with female teachers is more stronger than male because after all she is a women inside her there is mother nature. So children get attach more with female teachers and in kindergartens also kids get more attached with female teachers because they care like mother they use to keep eye on children like mother. They seem to have more patience and soft spoken when it comes to kids. Teaching kids is the most difficult thing. Because one has to be very patience to make them understand everything from scratch. So females are more preferred when it comes to teach primary or secondary level kids. Females tend to have more of a liking for the little kids and have a temper suited to working with them. Kids are more comfortable with female teachers because they teach children in a funny way where as men are kind of strict towards kids there temper doesn’t match with children and women do understand kids with there facial expressions whether they understand or not. If not they change there teaching way for kids to understand them more easier. Women has some kind of energy and positive attitude towards children that kids mostly like female teachers.

    UNIVERSITIES NEED MORE FEMALE TEACHERS…
For students, like schools are homes when they are not at their own home, teachers are like parents when they are not with parents. And teachers are no less than parents because how much parents do teachers also does same, just there’s a difference in the environment and place of learning and we can say that teacher’s role is also that much in student’s life to make them grow socially, mentally and face the world outside.
Universities need to have more of female teachers as there are chances that females can know more clearly what student wants and how it should be done. They can understand both boy and girl students properly because after all they are women and it is said, they are all-rounder and can do anything be it home or work.
Choosing female teachers at universities and for higher education teaching can be a good option for students as well because they can understand each problem related to children as compared to male teachers and students are free towards female teachers more. In terms of teaching both are equal but what bond students can make with female teachers can’t match with male teachers. Not only education-wise but they can make students learn in a way that is easier to understand everything.

I am very agreeable to this opinion. But when we say women I mean an empowered woman. Be unfortunately I am seeing that still to some extent women teachers themselves do the gender discrimination. Since we are talking about gender discrimination let’s not forget how a female student is always not seen worthy of responsibility and many a times they are often not taken seriously. We see when it comes to the positions like GR and CR the votes and choices are always inclined towards male candidates.
Not to forget how actively women who aspire for certain recognition are opposed.
So there needs to be potential women to support girls and help them to grow.
Next important thing is people should understand is how to talk to a girl. Sadly even this 21st century student doesn’t know how to talk to girls. We still see how teenagers are seen using ill words towards women. This is why we need a female teacher to teach them that they are obligated to respect women.
Not only this but let’s not forget the Sexual harassment incident in colleges.
Many girls have been harassed sexually , verbally and mentally by male teachers. Then comes the issues of periods and all the women related things which girls find comfortable to talk with women so in this case if they have their teachers who can understand their problems and validate them. Then there is also the thinking that women don’t have capability to handle big projects and often the big chances are intentionally not given to them. If we have the universities which are women empowered there will be more development . But unfortunately we see that in university the teacher herself Is not respected so sometimes it often degrades the morale. So we need to set up a strong foundation here.

There is really need of female teachers in universities, in very fewer universities there are an equal number of male and female teachers are seen, there are many reasons behind of it, some women do not have higher qualification and universities mostly hires staff who a have done Ph.D. or have done specialization in a particular subject, many women do not get the chance complete higher education. Female teachers are always needed because they are very passionate when it comes to teaching and also they understand the issues of a college student, they also try to help them especially in the case of girls where they are not comfortable talking with male staff, there also a lot of cases of harassment on girl’s student by the male teacher comes to hear that’s why we require female staff. Some Universities does not give priority to female first because they think teachers will be not able to give their time if there is need of extra class because they have to go back home on time and female teachers have taken more leave than men teachers is how the thought process of some universities for not hiring female teacher but this shows the inequality. Some students abuse the female teacher when they try to teach make fun of them and do mimicry also some students spread fake rumors about the female staff that’s why they try to fear teaching the university students and it also demotivates them. Female teachers should not fear to apply in universities because of not having much experience because policies are changed, now knowledge is more of value than experience. If college started positively hiring women then it will empower other women and this will lead to the development of women in society. Let college need to adopt an equal number of both men and female teacher it will create balance in university and students will get the chance to learn from both.

Teachers lie at the core of each kid’s instructive and educative journey, right from youth to more significant levels of schooling. Consistently committed educators can emphatically affect young blood into personality building. In numerous places of the world, particularly low-pay nations, qualified instructors are hard to come by. As indicated by one study, the interest for teachers at the university level in the developing pay nations is projected to ascend by 25% somewhere in the range of 2015 and 2030. But still, we need more flow of qualified teachers in our universities, particularly female teachers, as it can greatly improve the gender division problems and other inequalities that are associated with it.

Not only we should fill the teacher gap, but also improve the quality of education, of course. The skills of teachers, and how they teach, are very important. Notwithstanding these central points of contention, gender disparity and variations in the training labor force likewise should be attended to. This is basic in light of the fact that gender equality in the labor force, including staff and school initiatives, is directly connected with teaching results, particularly for young girl students. Women teachers are a better choice for teachers in universities as they have a better understanding of student psychology. Not just as teachers, women are also proven to be good counselors. The good availability of women teachers in universities brings a sense of security among girl students when they step out of their comfort zone. Women are born with empathy and a high emotional quotient, so therefore they are in a better position to understand issues that are related to girl students. Women are certainly more equipped as against their male counterparts to understand student’s ability to learn quickly. But, one should also avoid stereotyping because male teachers can be equally kind-hearted and affectionate.

Apart from that, it is a good way to empower our women and to make them more independent in society. It has a direct as well as an indirect effect in eliminating the gender division problem that our society has.

As a government entity, schools are still primarily overseen and supported by men. The role of women in society has improved a lot over the last few decades, but discrimination and sexism against women have not gone away completely. In this context, it is disappointing to see gender inequality in the field of education. There is no denying the fact that there are a lot of female teachers who can’t treat boys equally. This is because their gender creates difficulties (not all, but some) for the male students. The reason for this difference in treatment towards boys or girls maybe because of their gender or religion.

Some people claim that the underrepresentation of female teachers is due to a lack of qualified candidates. If that were true, we should find a positive correlation between the number of years teaching and gender. There is no such correlation – at all. But the fact of the matter is that, in a post-feminist society where women can enter any field and yet are still not equally represented in the STEM fields, it would take an unusually talented and intelligent female to become a teacher. It is easier to evaluate the teacher by the curriculum, how the student is doing in class compared to other students, and based on information on homework, projects, and quizzes. Less biased teachers should be able to get more student accomplishments as a result of having positive assessments.

A very common trait in our society is the willingness to blame, but seldom to accept responsibility. One instance of this attitude can be observed in the field of education. A popular rationale for the lag in student performance in most schools and colleges is that there are too few female teachers. In most schools, women make up less than 20 percent of all teachers and principals. If the universities want to start producing competent individuals, they need to bring in more female teachers.

The fact of the matter is that society considers it a female’s job to nurture. It’s only recently, thanks to feminism, that men have been allowed to nurture in a mothering capacity. We still have a very long way to go before we can say that men are allowed to be nurturers. Maybe, there is a need to conduct an experiment where male teachers are encouraged to go to all-female schools. Also, the reverse experiment should be conducted where women teachers are sent to an all-male school to encourage boys and girls.
