    Pride month is celebrated in June since 1969.this is celebrated to uplift the LGBTQ+ community its culture and support them. The rainbow colour flag was created by gilbert baker in 1978. Each colour in the flag designates its meaning. Red is symbolic of life, orange is for spirit, yellow is for sunshine, green is for nature, blue is for harmony and purple is for the spirit.
    It is really important to know about these groups as they are also human. They discriminated against based on their sex, they are even exploited in public places. Recently Madras high court directed the union of social justice and empowerment to enlist non-governmental organisations that could counselling, support and legally assist and protect the laws
    for the LGBTQ+ community.
    Even in U.S supreme court allowed 50 states to make legal same-sex marriage in 2015. There are many campaigns for HIV/AIDS in these community. This month is to tell people and make them aware of these community and their rights. In the U.S bill, Clinton was the first president to recognise the LGBTQ+ community and during the Barack Obama administration, they begin celebrating June as pride month.
    Even today schools are telling children about this society and making them well aware. The concept behind this month also makes diverse and inclusive society and to understand each other well and their needs. 2021 theme of this month thrives with pride. In India many companies have set up friendly relations with LGBTQ+ to follow non-discrimination policy, expanding cultural mindset, appreciating LGBTQ+ talent and many more. this will create employment and a safe work environment in India. As we all in some stereotype families it is considered illegal and worst form. But we need to accept this we need to change our thinking pattern into the modern one. To create a better future for all.

    Pride is a sense whilst you feel satisfied by way of your own achievements and suitable work. As we all know that June is a pride month and it is celebrated as a tribute to those involved in the Stonewall riots. The people and community involved in this pride were the ones who have sacrificed and also stood up for a great cause and for a good thing.
    Pride Day on 28 June was in the year 1970 when the first march was held in New York City. If we think pride day is for bisexuals, gays, lesbians, transgender, etc then it’s because they have fought these to gain rights for their personal life, to have the same and equal rights as normal human gender. In the month of June, there were events that made an LGBTQ community and all who are involved in this, made them free from people’s taunts and inequality. June month had riots, it also had official pride parade, first LGBT organization was made, Same-sex marriage right was also given and so June is a Pride month.
    It’s not only for them to celebrate but for each one of us who needs to embrace ourselves for who we are and what we are. People dress up and participate in marches, events held and celebrate this day so prosperously and with excitement. The Rainbow flag is a symbol of pride and each color has its meaning like life, healing, sex, spirit, etc.
    So every individual has its fundamental right to be equally well-known in society and have a good time satisfaction day each day not handiest at some of the day because we live each day and need to have a good time and be proud for WHO WE ARE!!!

    Pride month is celebrated in June, and it started in June 1969 with the Stonewall Uprising. In this month the LGBTQ communities voices, rights and cultures are lifted and celebrated throughout the month. There is parades, protests,drag performances, live theater and memorials and celebration of life for members who lost live due HIV/AIDS are been traditionally practiced nationwide like a celebration throughout the pride month.
    Pride month is important because it signifies the true essence for living despite being any gender or transgender. Their symbol which is rainbow flag created by Gilbert Baker in 1978 specifies each color with its own meanings. It has six colors in general and every color symbolizes something.
    Red =symbolic of life
    orange =symbolic of spirit
    yellow =sunshine
    green = nature
    blue = harmony
    purple =spirit
    According to the cause or movement the flag adds some more colors to represent the initiative on larger scale.
    In 2021,black color was included to show support for the protest of Black Lives Matter.
    The pride is about embracing our own real self personality and to make people realize that whoever you are, hold a pride for yourself in every scenario.
    It is important to let LGBTQ community live the life they wanted to live from so long, and they have battling so many battles among society and for their own to admit their sexuality in front of the world.
    It is highly suspicious to be a transgender in our society, but they have forgotten that they are being born on their own, but the God has created them in that way. Every soul created needs to be acknowledged, respected and accepted.
    Pride is celebrated to let people know that LGBTQ community exist and to get the basic rights and freedom that they deserve as a human, to keep the issues in news and highlight the injustice faced by them on regular basis. To make a noise and to get the justice is the motive behind so many pride celebration. They are fighting from so long without being tired and what they are asking just a basic rights. Due to all these some rights have been granted for them and more needs to be given immediately.
    We can lend our support the pride by involving in various parades, protest and marches. By donating to some organizations who are supporting LGBTQ community.
    Pride is holding a special place for many people,after all the sacrifices and torture finally they are breathing freely, it actually changed their whole life and It’s making more people to come out and admit their personality without being ashamed.
    Love yourself with freedom,embrace and fly.
