Women empowerment, reality or still a dream?
Women empowerment can be interpreted as promoting or encouraging women rights and abilities, and letting them live their life on their own terms, as the law provides. It rises the bar of their social strata to a level where is supposed to be, at par with the rest of the human population. It ensures that women be given what they deserve and achieve, not only in the eyes of the society or the people around them, but also in their own eyes. In my opinion, empowerment of women has been taken up as a great initiative, and it has surely come out real strong too, but unfortunately, it has not become a reality yet. It remains a dream of a number of people that live, with a thought of positivity and revolution in their minds and hearts every day.
Although modern-day feminists and activists in the literal sense have brought about a large wave of change among the minds of the people of our society, but some areas are yet to be reached out to. I believe, those who do not believe in ‘women empowerment’ need help in it’s true sense. Those living in the rural areas still follow ‘purdah’ system and expect women to live only and only to cook, clean, or nurture families. Whereas, even in the most urbanized areas, we get to hear about rape cases or crimes against women, every other day. Those who speak up against this unfair and unjust treatment, are punished in the cruelest ways and just shut up. It takes great courage to do what those women do when they go through everything that they go through. And once they are raped or abducted for just wanting to breathe with their head up in the air and live like a human, it breaks them completely and kills them internally. Why else do we have so many cases of mental illness in young girls and women?
It’s high time we realized the vitality of women empowerment as a real feature of our society. To treat a human like a human is what we all must take as our duty and responsibility, as it is the right of each and every woman, no matter where she belongs. Let’s thrive towards it and change this dream into a reality, to make this world a much better place with peace, love and humanity, for the future generations.

Women empowerment only happen when women get to do their education can follow their dreams and be aware of their rights. Women are still paid less they are expected to cook do household duties there is no equality. Some family are still strict about their culture that women are still restricted to wear the clothes of their own choices. Some Parents don’t allow there girls to away from home for studies but other side boys are allowed to go foreign for there studies. Women empowerment is really needed in society and it is important for women self-respect and also society. Women can have equal right to participate in education, economy and politically. They should have right for their education to complete their studies in which they are interested and women should be allowed to go foreign for higher studies like men. There should equality maintain in this terms. Women should get opportunities to be independent and make money by their talent they are capable enough to work hard and can support their family. Sometimes women lose their confidence because of society judgement by saying it that’s not women’s job. Women are still facing violence, abuse something has to done with this. Women should get protection because of such people women are not allowed to stay late outside or do night duties. Women are still can’t be freely while going outside late. Some Women still don’t get family support to achieve there dreams. They ask to leave their home to follow their dreams. Women empowerment only can be seen when there will be equality and thry should be aware about there rights.

As a society we are now talking about women empowerment and finally taking some small steps towards making them empower. But in reality the there are some aspects where we are lacking to make it possible. I think it is still a dream to make women empower because 80% of the woman in India is suffering due to the lack of the support, motivation and the attention that they need to become empowered. Women are now working in every sector possible, but they are still fighting for the rights which need to serve them in a proper manner.
An empowerment comes with a lot of hard work and dedication. And there is no one better than women to have the power because she can nail hard work with ease. To make women have empowered in a reality we need to brush it off the idea that men are the only source of the solution for everything in life.
Women are going through lot of hurdles in their life, lacking in confidence, and not having the security of financially independent. By having women in a reality that is empowered in a true sense can make wonders in a society. A woman should also strive to be a better version of themselves by each passing days.
I hope one day we can say proudly that all our women is empowered and make that a reality and not only in dreams.

First of all the fact that there arose a need to empower women, says much about how we have failed to qualify as an ideal society. How ironic it is, that women, the more powerful gender of the two, except probably physically, needs to be empowered! The fact this term ‘women empowerment’ is in the knowledge of almost all, says much about the progress made in the right direction, with regard to the concerned matter here. With increased awareness and a progressive thought process, it has made possible for today’s women to be able to do everything.

Women empowerment typically means that women of the society have the right and power to make their own choices, breaking all the unfair stereotypes and getting equal opportunities to make their rightful mark on the world. Today’s women have been successful in securing the topmost position in all the sectors, be it politics, business, sports and academics. Previously stereotyped professions that deemed women inappropriate or incompetent to do the job, has now started considering women, not only to become the member of any such professions but also to lead them from the front. Women have beaten men legitimately in almost all arenas and sectors

Thus it can be said that in today’s times, women empowerment is running with its full pace, as they have started getting access to equal opportunities and resources. This has made today’s woman stronger and self-sufficient. But we must not forget that the journey is quite long and slow and we have just set our foot in the right direction. The current condition of the women in society tells us that there is a lot yet to be desired. We have just scratched the surface. This same enthusiasm and willingness must prevail to conserve development of women and there by spread the light of hope. Thus, we can say that even though the position of women in the society have been much better, the flame has just started to pick up and we must not let it being put off.

Well I would say that it’s a dream turning into reality. So far I would say that we have all come a long way by taking baby steps.
I won’t really deny the fact that today’s condition is a lot better than in ancient and medieval eras where women were not even allowed to show their face. But one common thing between both the Era and today’s modern era is that even then women were struggling and even today that women are struggling for their own rights is common and this fact won’t change.
But let’s not ignore the fact that we have really come a long way till now and I also believe that we will walk ahead and make this dreamy situation real one day . It’s been a remarkable journey so far from Ahilyabai holkar, Rani Lakshmi bai , Indira Gandhi to Saina Nehwal , Priyanka Chopra and Kamala Harris, Sunita Williams. We have some incredibly strong women who are practically ruling the globe.
Today’s women are striving hard and are achieving great heights and breaking numerous stereotypes. The foremost and most beautiful thing is they are doing it by their choice and for themselves and not for getting a good match or because boys nowadays want their wives to be educated. They dream and work hard to get that dream turned into reality. There are families now who strongly support girls and plan their education. Today’s women are actually virtuous as they not only grow themselves but encourage and take other women’s hand in their hand and encourage them to go together. We see many less scenarios of women tearing woman apart.
There are many families who teach their sons to respect women and also families who are in fact enthusiastic to have a girl child in their house. I know we still have a long way to go but honestly the situation so far has been a revolution to me. Today women are breaking their limitations and coming forward and raising voices. Due to movements like me too many women have come forward and shared their experiences. Today many rape survivors are coming out and sharing their experience but also guiding women who are victims to live life normally and freely. The best example is Natasha Noel who is encouraging self love. We also have many women who are expressing their sexuality bravely and normalising LGBTQ and supporting eachother. Today transgender women are receiving education and even reached on global platform like United Nations.
Not only this but most important part is played my all the female content creator who have actually helped many young teenage girls to gain confidence and also propagated sex education and have raised fund for help and encouraged women to live thier lives freely . Fashion bloggers especially plus size bloggers have actually come forward and broken them thinking that plus size women cannot be fashionable and thus today all the fashion sites and apps have all the size clothes.
So far our progress is great but there is still the other side of stories as there are people who are still not respecting women. There are so called educated people who hold highest qualifications and post involved in hazardous crimes like rape and domestic violence. There are school going kids fearlessly slandarring and slutshaming girls on social media. But fortunately social media is trying to protect girls and allow them to shut up any bullshit and thus here we are all growing and hope so we will always keep growing and make India a better place to stay.
