If it’s a debate about necessity of gender justice and gender equality, I’ll really prefer to say that debating among them is meaningless. As women don’t possess any of these. A common response to the efforts of gender equality specialists to bring attention
to gender perspectives in different areas/issues is that the more important work on policy
development and planning must be taken care of first, before attention can be given to
issues of gender equality and gender justice.
But of course as I am taking part, I personally choose gender justice.
Why? – it’s because they both are so much connected and contradicting. However I think gender justice is the first step towards gender equality. Though only one of them is never enough.
As you can say, if we consider our men society, not everyone is muscular, not everyone is sufficient to do every kind of work, so we just consider it as a type of mere human being but in case of women, we want everyone to be with same virtues, same choice, same preference which are being pressurized on us and that’s where comes gender inequality.
we don’t expect a human being to be perfect from all direction, then why we must continue to consider women just as same as men? Here comes gender justice.
If a woman want to roam free or want to just be in her so called safe zone… Why to decide what she must do between any of them ?
Now what should we choose, if you ask, every word has both positive and negative parts. Until now, we just use negative side of the concept gender justice to suppress our women, but if we start to look at it with another angle, I guess it’ll be a lot easier and satisfying result which can be a primary base on which we can establish our theor of gender equality and a higher slope of graph of women empowerment.

    GENDER EQUALITY OR GENDER JUSTICE?
Gender equality is when all genders have equal rights, responsibilities and opportunities. Gender equality is a human right.
Gender justice is a right where everybody; women, men, girls, boys are valued equally and are able to share equitably in the distribution of power, knowledge and resources.
    FOR GENDER EQUALITY
Gender equality is treating each gender equally and giving them equal rights. If there is inequality, every gender will be affected whether its women, men transgender. Gender equality applies to all if it is practiced it will bring prosperity in many ways like economic, social, political and many more. Each one them can benefit from gender equality whether its infant or adult or old aged. A developed place treats and values each women and men at par. But in underlying areas and less developed and rural areas, that needs to be considered and taken seriously and should be prioritized, so that can be achieved but it cannot happen overnight. If each individual works together for a good cause, we can achieve and follow equality in all gender.
This topic highlights on equality, so there’s no scope for biasness towards one gender to be most priority and other less. Equality is equal opportunities, responsibilities to all, whether children, men, women, transgender. Whether its work related or family related, each gender holds that importance and each gender have rights to applicability.
It can be achieved when there are reforms which have equal rights to economic resources as well as access to ownership and control over all things. When people adopt an sound and valid policies for promotion of gender equality .It is a goal itself for peaceful development and it can be achieved when all contribute to development of society and stop comparing oneself to others.

“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.” – Benjamin Franklin
It is needless to say that gender justice is definitely more important than gender equality. Gender equality means giving both men and women equal opportunities in every aspect of life but it does not recognise that a woman’s experience and reality is different from a man’s. Gender justice, on the other hand, is beyond me equality of opportunities and provides a transformative change. Gender justice means giving people opportunities as their requirements. Gender justice stands for people across the gender spectrum to dismantle the harmful structures in society, including patriarchy, transphobia, homophobia, etcetera. Currently, it is important to be treated fair than to be treated equally. People unwittingly practice gender discrimination in their homes. Discrimination based on gender starts at a very young age. Boys are given cars as toys while girls are provided with dolls, sure both of them have toys but the division isn’t fair. Both the genders have chosen a colour for themselves which is wrong. Indian families ask their daughters to return home earlier than they expect their sons to.
The main aim of gender justice and gender equality is to provide women with better representation in society. In many families, men are the sole decision-makers while women take part in taking decisions like what to cook in the evening. Recently, things regarding this seemed to have changed but there is still room for improvement. Men have also been subjected to a social bias. They expected to be emotionless, not like the colour pink and have to be the earning member of the family. Society has to be fair to not only women but to men as well by removing these clauses of being “masculine”.
Although they have many improvements in various aspects of society, there still needs to be some more work done. To put gender equity into practice we need to be aware of its different dimensions. Both benefits and the costs and risks need to be distributed among local men and women. There should be equal opportunities to bring both perspectives to the table.
So, gender justice is more important than gender equality.

People whose faith lies with gender justice make an attempt to argue that notion of gender equality is faulty as it overlooks the apparent differences between men and women, both socially and physically, and tries to deem women as equal to men. But the very important thing that is misunderstood here is that the justifications given for the notion of gender equality being faulty are in turn faulty in themselves. Gender equality never advocates that women are not the same as men; it rather says that as human beings, both men and women stand on equal pedestals. Women may not be as strong physically as men are, but they surely deserve to share equally ‘strong’ positions, be it in a certain professional arena or in the society itself.
Gender justice is defined as proper distribution of resources, opportunities and responsibilities among people of all genders. But it fails to elevate the status of women in the society to its rightful position. This is because, this notion of gender justice inadvertently cages women into certain predefined domains and neglects or overlooks the fact that women too are humans ultimately and every human being deserves to be given his/her due worth according to the individual capabilities, skills and resources, irrespective of being a male or a female or of any other gender for that matter.
Thus, it can be said that gender equality is not to be misunderstood as the notion that men and women are essentially same, but it advocates the notion of equal rights, equal opportunities, same level of respect and most importantly the right to lead a life of dignity on their own accord. Hence, gender equality is a very crucial brick in the foundation of the societal structure, which if cracked or shattered, can result in the collapse of this structure however gradual that might be.

    Gender equality or gender justice:
This is the thing that every child face or feel from birth and from this some people things that they are superior from other. But there is not much mistake of people who think that they are best then other even in Tha same family and this is called gender inequality. Everybody talks about gender equality and everyone show that they are in a modern era and does not believe in these type of inequality but everyone does this in their life.Example:in their home(daughter and son), in other places(rich and poor). And we all are living in that society in which gender discrimination and gender unequality is a common thing. And we can’t say that this is for only girls, gender unequality is also applied on boys. In some places girls are taught from there birth not to shout,be in your limits and these limits are set by society even not by her or her parents and parents also believe in that society became happy with their girls because their girls didn’t know how to raise their voice against anything and their body are fully clothed and these are the so called limits of our society. And boys also taught from birth not to cry,put your emotions on your heart, not to tell anybody what is going on inside etc. If anyone of them came across from their limits they are bad in front of society , sometimes there parents don’t understand them. Why this is happened? And then all will talk about gender justice or equality. Isn’t this is a joke?
For gender justice and gender equality firstly remove these type of hazardous materials from your body because no one gave you right to talk about the people,no one gave you right to put pressure of your opinions to anyone,no one gave you right to set limits for anybody. Everyone knows their limits, everyone knows how to behave in front of anyone, everyone knows how to dress up, everyone knows about everything so anyone from this type of society can’t talk about anybody if you can’t support them then you have no right to be responsible for falling of their confidence.

    Gender Equality or Gender Justice?
Equality and justice are two terms that hold different meanings, although the word ‘justice’ overlaps the word ‘equality’ somehow. When we talk about these two terms in relation with ‘gender’, we get to know how important and vital these really are. Whether we realize it or not, truth be it, that Gender Justice is rendered as what people believe to be justice. In eyes of the society, justice for men and women is different. This is why justice to men is rendered at a different level as compared to women.
Until, we do not realize what equality in terms of gender represents, we will not understand the true and literal meaning and importance of gender justice. And anyway, how can justice even be interpreted on the basis of gender? Having different connotations varying from person to person is natural, but having different connotations of justice distinguished by gender, is rather personal. No matter how developed or advanced we have become in the current times, we do not have a developed mindset or an advanced thought process when it comes to gender differences and women. Our society is so called ‘liberal’, although we are not.
So, coming back to the point, we should consider ‘Gender Equality’ rather than ‘Gender Justice.’ Thinking of the current status of women in the society, we know our hard work in the women empowerment sector brings negligible change in the world for women. Till the time we do not see women at a level equal to that of men, we will not be able to render justice to women as in the Constitution. Why must we not see a female candidate as deserving and fitting as a male candidate for a political seat? Maybe a larger number of female leaders, defence service officers, social workers, and also supporting male colleagues can make a difference. This is the need of the hour. This is what our society needs in order to be a better place. The day we achieve ‘Gender Equality,’ we’ll all know what we worked hard for, was worth it. So let’s march towards it and prepare the society for the coming generations full of female stars and women excelling in each field, that make us a proud nation, society and world.

Every human needs to live the life on their own terms because it is the most basic thing one can have. The humans are categorized into women and men. Looking at physical structures they are a different species altogether, but they possess some commendable skills talent and much more which is not different in both of them rather it is something that can be found better in any human whether a girl or a boy.The gender equality is something that I don’t agree because equality doesn’t bring justice .Gender justice is the change we need to make in today’s world as every human out there is suffering because of injustice and unfair treatment they are being forced to face. Equality doesn’t guarantee a positive surrounding that we need to have as an important aspect. Justice is the factor that will bring a positive approach in both the genders. All you can do is to make people secure about their jobs by in blind the rule of justice that is to treat everybody under the same rules and regulations I know it’s not about the equality but cause equal men and women are created differently and designed for a different work in the world they don’t need to compared to each other here it will be a better human order Since a lot of talk has been happened about the gender equality it still doesn’t make sense at so many levels because we need to understand that each human is empowered in their own skills and talents all the behaviour they possess apparently the word feminist is in trend which demands equality but the true meaning of the feminist is only that the dim and the respect the space the launch is mental attitude and the normalcy around them working and going working and doing housework goes along with the children’s and family it is only we as a society can make a difference about the thinking. Justice is more privileged and secure Rather than fighting. Against the law of nature because we are born to make a change differently not equally. This needs to be said louder everywhere that ‘ to make a difference according to your energy not equally’,

I agree with Proposal A. we all know gender equality and gender justice are not the same terms. As justice comes with equality. Equality means that we all get equal opportunities in every field between various people, situations, professions, etc. Albeit equality is closely related to justice. It is necessary to establish equality first which will ultimately lead to justice for all.
Gender equality has been a question since history. In our constitution, our first fundamental right which is secure to all the citizens starts with article-14 which means equality before the law and equal protection of rights even in the preamble of India which is the identity card of the Indian constitution also pronounce equality of status and opportunity and to promote among them all this is solely confirmed that Indian constitution pronounces equality as bases of everything.
Gender equality not only abolishes all the evils against women but does not lead to the question of justice. because when everyone is equal there is not much need for justice.
But in the ground reality gender equality is meaningful? Or do we have to make reforms in society? The basic factor of inequality is professional obstacles, violence, feticide and infanticide, feminization of poverty, access to healthcare and many more.
According to the united nation development program (UNDP), many countries neither have gender equality, not gender justice. Due to weak law no justice is provided and which leads to inequality.
It is estimated that women perform two-thirds of the world’s work and earn only one-tenth of the income which is less than one percent in the total world. Gender equality also leads to the natural gender difference in which there is no discrimination based on sex. As equity leads to equality. The government of India has launched many schemes such as Jijamata Mahila Aadhar Vima Yojana, Mahila Samriddhi Yojana, and 33% reservation for women in various fields.

Gender equality supports a myth that the qualms of every individual in the society can be resolved through equal distribution of opportunities and resources. To be more precise, gender equality is blind to the existence of social stratification. Each individual is uniquely located within hierarchical frameworks and with unique positioning comes unique problems. While it is impossible to address each person’s difficulties with precision, it is possible to reduce the extent of the consequences. To mete out gender equality would mean gauging the needs of individuals from different genders by the same yardstick and providing relief on its basis. The yardstick in question would inevitably be, if not in favour of one gender, discriminatory towards others. For instance, within the same gender category, it is obvious that the needs of a disabled woman are significantly unique and chances are that they are taken for granted. Gender equality is built on the unrealistic assumption that all individuals can be taken on a level playing field. In simple words, it fails to address intersectional aspects of gender oppression.
Gender justice is comparatively a more inclusive approach to eradicating gender oriented problems and oppression in the society. It places a much required emphasis on equity- providing justice while taking into consideration the particularities of intersecting identities such as class, caste, race, sexuality etc. The focus remains on equal outcome instead of equal distribution. For this reason, gender justice has a brighter prospect of enabling inclusive growth.
