PATRIARCHY IS BAD AND FEMINISM IS GOOD. YOUR VIEW?
Firstly, both are different concepts but in both women are the ones who are considered in positions, in Patriarchy women face discrimination, comparison, and oppression and in Feminism, women are supported and are given equal rights as men.
In a patriarchal society, men are considered as apex or in top positions or superior to women in every aspect like social, personal, economic, etc. It’s a male-dominated society where each right or power or decision is in the hands of men as a priority and women here are considered inferior and not given that equality in anything. So, these women are not in a position to decide for themselves whether it’s personal or social life.
Feminism on the other hand is the right where women should be given equal opportunities and powers the same as men’s. This concept doesn’t make men or women any gender in a superior position instead it makes both equal for their rights. It’s for protection and equality of rights for women and girls also in case of domestic violence or sexual assault.
So we can conclude that both are opposite in nature but feminism is an attempt to change the thoughts and ideas on women where they were considered as inferior and less than men. So, feminism is good because it brings something positive and in favor of everyone.
